You know that drop of your stomach when you realize your brilliant plan won’t work? Maybe it is an order that won’t arrive in time, or a reservation you waited just a bit too long to make. Most of us have experienced it, and while it’s frustrating, we are here to show you how and why it is avoidable–at least with boudoir! There is a common misconception that boudoir only needs to be booked a few weeks or month out, but here are a few reasons to book your boudoir photo session in advance.

First, great boudoir photographers book up, and incredible ones like Boudoir by Mina book 3-4 months out. With life seemingly flying by it can be tough to think out a couple of months, but if you have a specific event you are wanting the photos for, don’t wait! In fact, Boudoir by Mina will accept sessions reservations up to 12 months in advance.

Next, it helps financially to look ahead. Boudoir sessions are an investment, financially and emotionally. The session itself can be fun, healing, and an act of self-love, but for many it helps to plan the financial part in advance. While you have to pay the session fee to hold your date, Boudoir by Mina has two payment options for the images after.

First, there is the Pre-Pay Plan. This option allows the client to choose their collection in advance and pay it off however they choose prior to the session, and is the only option that comes with bonuses depending on the collection they choose.
The second option is the Boudie Bank. This is a perfect option if you aren’t sure what you will want to purchase after your session, as it simply allows you to put money away until your session. Some people choose to tuck money into their Boudie Bank monthly or weekly, but all of them are so excited to have that money waiting for them when it comes to choosing prints!

I am a Colorado-based photographer who loves to capture amazing photos. I am originally from Colombia, I now live in the front range with my husband and my 3 small children. I began my creative expression as an industrial and interior designer but now I express these skills with a passion to capture boudoir photography. I was not always working behind the scenes, I also have experience in front of the camera. I worked as a model in Colombia for years supplying me with the personal experience required to expertly guide my clients to optimal body poses and facial expressions.
