Hi! I’m Mina. Your Denver Boudoir Photographer

Hi and welcome! My name is Mina and I am a Denver boudoir photographer! I live with my husband and 3 beautiful children. Before boudoir, I was a newborn and family photographer for about 5 years. I had a friend who kept asking me to take her boudoir photos and I kept refusing because I didn’t know anything about it and I was unsure of how the photos would turn out. This went on for around 6 months or so. I eventually gave in, and was like “Sure, let’s try it!” And let me tell you, as soon as we started, I was in love.

I also have previous experience as a model during my teens until my mid twenties, so when she wasn’t sure how to pose it felt like it came so naturally to me and I was able to explain some tips and tricks to her. It was actually really eye opening for me, how natural this felt in comparison to the newborn and family photography. I love the feeling of empowerment that I give these women. Seeing their faces when they get to view the shots we’ve just taken is truly something else. I really felt like this was meant to be and I had just never had the chance to explore this kind of photography before.

So I started offering Boudoir sessions to my friends and once I felt like I had gotten a bit more experience with it, I started offering my services as a Boudoir Photographer! People really seemed to connect with my style and how I am able to use my past modeling experience to help them with posing. I feel like being able to help with that is one of my biggest strengths in this type of photography.

I actually had someone in the studio recently who was having a hard time because she was really nervous. I was able to show her easy ways to pose that made her feel good about everything and we ended up having a really great time! It’s a fun experience for me for sure.

I really enjoy hearing these women’s stories and being able to take part in empowering them and showing them how beautiful they really are. It’s really amazing having the chance to see them feel like a model and a star. It’s huge to see how you can impact someone’s life by just taking some pictures and showing them how truly beautiful they are.

I am a Colorado-based photographer who loves to capture amazing photos. I am originally from Colombia, I now live in the front range with my husband and my 3 small children. I began my creative expression as an industrial and interior designer but now I express these skills with a passion to capture boudoir photography. I was not always working behind the scenes, I also have experience in front of the camera. I worked as a model in Colombia for years supplying me with the personal experience required to expertly guide my clients to optimal body poses and facial expressions.
